When life in Maastricht gets bored, people start doing funny stuff. Irene started the ball rolling by buying a pack of dye and engaged our residence hair dye specialist (Miss Corinne who starting dyeing at the age of 14) to help her with her hair. Everyone was happy with her job and proceeded to buy more. JR bought one pack to impress his gf before she comes over. So Miss Corinne the expert and Irene were engaged to help him. He being with lesser hair than the girl, did not finish the whole pack so came along Albert. The rest is history. Victoria and I were just happy stoning there while they dyed.
PS: After this wonderful thing, Chriss bought a dye pack for herself.
So that's Yin Chao the guy and Ying Zhao the girl. Have fun in Singapore!
Thoughts on leaving...
Some say they want to get home to their family and friends. But if we have the means to transport them to Maastricht, would you still want to get back?
Maybe it is the comfort of our home that makes us yearn to go back. Maybe it is the comfort of cheap and good food. Maybe it is the comfort of so many things we have gotten used to for the past 20 years of our lives.
But truly in our hearts, what makes us want to return to Singapore? Is it the sheer patriotism (or rather the lack of it)? Is it the easy way out to life?
As much as I hate to leave this place, I will want to return to Singapore for the very reason that I want to live a permanent life. Maastricht is a temporary life away from home. Yes, no things stay the same. But permanence is just knowing that everything in life in unpredictable. Isn't that?
I would very much love to face new challenges here in Maastricht if I am given another 6 months here, but time doesn't permit that. So I am going back soon to Singapore to face greater challenges meant for me.
Remember that? See me roar like a dragon.

You want to come back to Singapore because, alot of things you would not have to plan about. Everyday life would be auto-pilot and that saves alot of energy in this "permanence"
