Mid Autumn in Summer Singapore.

Thank you babes for showing support for my crazy idea to play lanterns. Thanks to the guys for being sporting enough to play sparklers and burn lanterns with us. Hope we stay friends forever like our lanterns. Haha. Cheesy. But anyway, love my babes. It was good grill food and shabu. Yums! Happy Belated Birthday to Lawrence too...

Tiring Day.

Woke up early.
Drove to work early, hoping to pay less for the ERP and choping a lot at Philip St.
Got my lot, parallel parking in the morning seems tougher than in the evening.
Never tore so many coupons in my life... But it beats parking at places which cost $4 per hr.
Work super fast hoping to get off work early.
But of course, there is neverending work.
So I quickly rushed off and went to Bedok to collect the cupcakes from Trish. Looks yummy but didn't have a chance to try it.
Then I quickly drove out of Bedok. Jam on ecp was really bad. It was just a short distance from where I wanted to go but the jam... Haik singapore drivers.
Had a late dinner.
Beginning to feel MORE fats.

Thanks babes, dudes, worms and ants.

Life's a catwalk

This thought occurred to me at the weirdest time. It was during the dreary ride to work on bus service 196. The aisle down the bus is just like a mini catwalk. People stride up and down in their pretty/best outfit to work with the best paintwork on their already pretty faces.

It is weird to people watch on the bus but I cannot help it. There is not much entertainment on the bus except for the music playing through the nano and occasional tv. Yeah.

It has been a long time since I sat down in a coffee place to people watch. Just done with MSIG. Going into Prudential.

I need insurance! And assurance...

Random Thoughts

1) I took my atom out of the piel frama case cause my handbag was getting too heavy. My atom seems to look sexier without the cover. Ooh. Haha.

2) Do not put someone as the priority in your life when you are just an option in theirs. How true.

3) The thought of seeing the babes this weekend, made my Monday better.

4) "Saving" was never a word in my dictionary.

5) Children's Wing. Wish we can have more friends in it.

6)Lei Garden brunch with family and 2nd aunt's family was fantastic.

7) Shopping with them was even more better. Hate the shoes staff (1 of them only) at John Little.

8) Happy with our RED samy luggage. Bimbo sis and I. Waiting for speedypost to deliver them from samy's warehouse. =)

9) Ironies. Love it or hate it.

Meanwhile, indulge in music. I love the new kensington transmitter. Though I got a feeling it is sucking more batt power than my old kensington. Or is my nano getting old? It is just barely less than a year old! SOBS! Lost my old kensington but the new one is better. Can charge my ipod too... and can do without it... Loving every moment. Finally found you.

In the mail!

Guess who came knocking at my door at 11am? DHL. But no one was home.

So I called DHL... and they said they could deliver it again between 7-9pm. Sweet.

Guess what came in? FP bag! Who says brits are slacker? The bag got delivered to SG within 72 hours. OH MY OH MY. I love receiving mails. =)

Yes, online shopping is good therapy. Especially when lousy sg shopping doesn't carry the products. http://www.fredperry.com/ can be trusted and really efficient. Online shopping also helps to save time. I have no time!

Saturday, went to the night safari. Love the show. Though it is still the same content. Guess somethings just won't change?

Meow.. Buzz off! I am the Queen, the universe.

Lucky Yet Unlucky.

Was paying bills online and I saw that. I actually won something. Haha.
But pretty upset today. Guess no one will hear it.

Food and Meetings

Yes, we all love excuses. To take time off work that is. So my unit celebrated 4 peeps' birthday in the pantry with an awfully chocolate cake. It was real sinful to skip work and dig into a muddy chocolate cake. But well...
My JC class met for the once in year gathering. This was organised by the very free Josh. Haha... We all had a good time just to catch up with each other. =)
