Maths 001: Significant Numbers

What is yours?

There are so many numbers to remember these days.
I am lazy to store numbers in my HP these days too. Or rather since I changed my HP from the atom to the current nokia. Simply too lazy to load the numbers on all over again. I attempted to remember everyone's numbers instead. But I realised in the process of trying to remember those numbers, I know who are the dearest to me.

I am feeling so emo now.. You can't blame a tired soul yearning for a little break. A break from the big mess. A break from a city less crazy than NYC but more painful.
Been working late nights everyday... sleeping less than 4 hours a day. Painful. Ouch. Not that I am so weak to start crying. But in those late nights, you start to wonder where are those who cared.

You start missing those who used to care. Cause you thought they did not care less back then. You start to recall their numbers and want to leave them a message to tell them you care. But you lack the courage to tell them.

But you remembered their numbers. Their numbers. So significant. They don't know.

Lived your American dreams?

24th April 2008 - 11th May 2008

America!

Ann Arbor & Holland, MI

Attended Sim and Serene's graduation ceremony in the damn cold weather. It was a sudden change of weather. We went to Holland, MI too. Lots of tulips. Missed it while I was in Holland, now I get to see tons of it in full bloom!

Toronto, Canada

Drove to Windsor, Canada from MI. Got stuck at the custom for a while but it was pretty fine. Toilet break. Haha. Oh I have to tell you that toilet doors in US have gaping holes. Enough to cover your modesty but also enough for people outside the cubicle to see if there's anyone inside. Nice. Anyway, the next day after Windsor, we drove down to Toronto.. Went to distillery centre of Toronto. It was closed on the day we went. Geesh. Went to see the Niagara falls. Amazing.

Chicago, IL

Drove back to US after covering Toronto. Went to Chicago. A city less crazy than NYC. 1st: Sunset taken with my sunnies as converter. 2nd: Cloud Gate @ Millennium Park. Amazing thing. It can capture the back view spanning don't know how many miles. 3rd: A river cruise thing. 4th: The lookalike Buckingham palace fountain. 5th: Had dinner @ Chicago's cheesecake factory. Love cheesecake! 6th: Sunset with Serene's sunnies. 7th: Cleaning John Hancock Tower's windows. 8th: Wrigley Building along Magnificent Mile in Chicago. 9th: Chinatown.

Orlando, FL

The Orlando is perpetually in Disney mood. That's the feeling dude! Disneyland in FL is way too big. They have Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Studios, Magic Kingdom... Did I missed out any? They are like 100X of HK's Disneyland, 99X of Paris'. I am not exaggerating. It is freaking huge. Had 2 days pass and it wasn't even sufficient.

The 3rd day at FL, we went to pick fruits. Florida's well know oranges. It was damn hot and it was easy to pick the fruits... But eating it and carrying it is no fun! Haha... We also took the airboat to see alligators up close. Quite nice. Ended the day with Blue Man Group Show. On the 4th day, we went to Seaworld. Not too bad. The shows are quite cheesy I thought.

New York, NY

Didn't do much in NYC but managed to go Liberty Island and visit the monument. Sweet. Pseudo freedom in US it seems after seeing it for 16 days!
