Well, we also went to Little Switzerland in Luxembourgh on our second day there. It was such a sad sight. Cause it was raining and all that. Too bad we couldn't soak in the nice atmosphere.

Nonetheless we enjoyed ourselves - minus Fordy dropping his cam into the bowl which works perfectly fine now. - minus the rain. - minus dead town.

Hee.

Luxembourg is BEAUTIFUL!

Let the pictures do the talking.

It was a wise choice to pay $5.70 for the guided tour of the old town. 10 of us had a guide who is very knowledgeable. The city is build within a valley. That explains the view. It has the world highest GDP and that's because it has only 400k people with sqkm 4 times of Singapore and 140++ financial institutions.

It is amazing how people can miss it while in Europe. Because it has so much heritage and culture and yet modern with the financial hub. Like the guide says, Luxembourg is something like Singapore. So many foreigners that somehow it loses its culture over the years and people start forgetting the past and history. =) They also have their own language Luxembourgish. However, the guide says it is interesting to note that when the EU ask Luxembourg for their official language, they dare not name Luxembourgish but instead chose French, German and English. Just like how Singapore dare not name Singlish as official language.

I see so many similarities between Luxembourg and Singapore, yet so many tiny little differences.
